In a sentence: I'm working on it.
- Also, what I wrote about not wanting friendships with coworkers? Still QFMFT.
- Z and I are great, though he has a new job with long hours. :-/ (Do any of you want to pay me some attention?)
- Besides being a lazy blogger, I've been a lazy blog commenter, and I don't even know why. I think I'm just getting in less computer time lately--I need to start catching up at work. (Kidding!)
- Since I work at a school, maybe a post on boundary lines with students should come up soon. I
know some people who could use it think it might be interesting.
- Right now, I could use a back rub, a pedicure, and a spiked Shirley Temple (preferably all at once).

QFMFT?
SotW,
Quoted for mother-f*cking truth.
lol, I just wanted to ask what's QFMFT!
I know what is like... Real life getting in the way of Internet (or should be the other way around?) :D
Mira,
Definitely the former. ;-)

Whatever you do, just don't fuck them.
Ohhh. I feel you on that though. I like to keep my relationships, the word I use for it is compartmentalized, work/friends/lovers separate. To me less drama. Since I'm at work in professional capacity the less friendly I am with my coworkers the better. Plus at work, I find that "friendly" people are inevitably two faced, backstabbers, incompetent, lazy and use this to get away with it on unsuspecting higher ups.
Anonymous,
I don't publish anonymous comments here (click the "Name/URL" button and pick a name--leave the URL blank), and your comment wasn't on the topic of the post (though there was nothing wrong with the actual content). Feel free to resubmit on a more relevant post.
I agree with StudentofthWorld. In my experience the overly friendly types are the gossipy, two faced back stabbers.
